I talk to so many Small and Medium Business (SMB) owners who don’t even want to discuss the value of using social media for their marketing. They get a terrified look on their faces at the thought of setting up social media pages and maintaining them. It overwhelms many. Some don’t know what types of networks to use. Some simply don’t know how to use it to their advantage. And others wonder if there IS an advantage to it.
My goal with this article is to examine the social media monster to help you decide if it is right for your business. I hope to provide understanding about 1) how to use it, 2) what are the advantages and disadvantages and 3) what forms of social networking will be right for the average SMB owner or practitioner.
