Please Note That This Retreat Has Been Postponed!

Presented By: Shelley-Jaye Hunt of Jim Thorpe Massage & Wellness Studio
& Dina Tulli Davis of JumpSpark Creative Group

In Partnership with the Carbon Chamber & Economic Development Corporation

As a woman, we wear many hats and have various responsibilities...we are wives, partners, mothers, sisters, friends, bosses and co-workers. We are born life-givers, caregivers and multi-taskers and are the epitome of unconditional love. When you really think about it, we are pretty amazing people by design, but all of this "amazingness" can be pretty exhausting!

So, what about YOU?!

Do you take nurturing time for YOU? Do you feel free and supported to follow your dreams? Do you feel stuck, afraid or guilty about being the person whom you want to be? Are you interested in exploring ways to find yourself, improve yourself or make your life better?

If so...

JOIN US on an amazing journey of inner self-discovery, enlightenment, rejuvenation & renewal.

Come take some time for YOU to nurture your spirit, reflect & connect with other women on the path to creating a beautiful & inspired life.

YOU DESERVE THIS TIME to get away for a moment to unplug, have fun, learn new things, get inspired and tap into your own PERSONAL POWER. We have designed this retreat for you to not only feel refreshed but to also leave with new friends & connections, new life skills and a new mindset that can help you BE, DO and HAVE anything that you desire in life!

We can't wait to see you in May!

SATURDAY RETREAT SESSIONS~

Morning Session I: Unleash Your Passion ~ Marlyn Kissner

Have you ever stopped and asked yourself "What am I most passionate about in both my professional and personal life?" What are the things that spark my passion? Do I even have passion? Does passion drive me, define me, and bring me happiness and financial freedom?

Explore ways to let passion in and learn about avenues to help ignite the flame within!

Morning Session II: A Guide to Conscious Life Creation ~ Dina Tulli Davis

Create a Clear Path to Envisioning and Manifesting the Life You Want to Live.

Are you living your dream or dreaming about the life you want to live? Do you feel stuck, fearful, unclear or unable to move in the direction of attaining your dreams? Do you have trouble believing that you actually can live the life you want? If you can answer yes to one or more of these questions, then I invite you on a journey of exploration of the key techniques and strategies that you can use to consciously create the life you want to live.

In this session, you'll learn how to: get clear about anything that you plan to do in life or in business, use different methods of visioning, create positive intent and attract the people, things and situations that you want in your life.

Afternoon Session I: Mindfulness is Key ~ Shelley-Jaye Hunt

Everyone experiences chaos in their lives. Chaos may be the result of a positive event in our lives like a job promotion, buying a house, or the birth or adoption of a child. Negative causes of chaos may include: illness, accidents, end of relationships or the day to day responsibilities of your profession compounded by too may e-mails, to-do lists and home responsibilities. CHAOS!

We all hold within ourselves the keys to quiet our minds, to become calm and happy and become 100% present. As we continue our journey of learning to write our own story, we will experience being in the moment, mindfulness and will unlock the power within us. Together we will experience sisterhood, which always includes love wisdom, empowerment and healing!

Afternoon Session II: Self-Guided Nature Walk

Take some time out for you to walk and explore the beautiful grounds of the Ukrainian Homestead. Take what you have learned so far today and reflect. Practice being PRESENT...notice the perfection of nature, feel the sensation of the grass under your feet, breathe in the fresh air and feel the sunshine on your face. Find a special place on the grounds that inspires you, sit quietly and take out your journal and record your insights or free write. Use all of your senses! This time is YOURS to relax, meditate and refresh!

Afternoon Session III: Community Art-Making ~ Dr. Lois Wilson

Experience the creative joy and profound insights that are born when we make art together in a safe and welcoming space, where everyone's gifts are honored and celebrated. We will be creating torn paper collages that give expression to your own sense of self, strength and wholeness and that tap into the divine creative spirit that lives in each of us.

VENUE INFORMATION & DIRECTIONS~

Ukrainian Homestead of CEC ODWU Inc. | 1231 Beaver Run Road, Lehighton, PA 18235 (Carbon County)

Located in the Pocono mountains of Pennsylvania, just 75 miles north of Philadelphia and 90 miles west of New York City, the Ukrainian Homestead offers visitors a wide range of activities in a beautiful country setting. Founded in 1957 by the Organization for the Rebirth of Ukraine (ODWU), the Homestead is dedicated to the celebration of Ukrainian heritage and culture.

For over 50 years, the Homestead has been a unique gathering place for friends and family. If you want to just unwind from big city stress, you can pick a soft grassy spot on the many acres of the Homestead and watch the clouds go by, or take a refreshing dip in the pool. Whether you are a sightseer or an avid sports enthusiast, you'll find something to meet your interests all within a few miles of the Homestead. You can also participate in any of our scheduled activities.

Each year, on the third weekend in August, the Homestead attracts thousands of visitors to its two-day cultural folk festival featuring Ukrainian dance ensembles, singers, musicians, arts and crafts vendors. The festival also includes an evening of dancing 'till dawn.

Ukrainian youth organizations such as PLAST, SUM, and other organizations hold weekend outings, meetings or conferences at the Homestead. Weddings and special family gatherings are another reason to get together at the Homestead. From picnics or formal events to soccer or volleyball tournaments, our country place has the room and the facilities for small or large groups to hold whatever events they choose in any season.....for any reason.
